Peter increasingly looks into supply chain due diligence in the global economy, besides pursuing his decade-long dedication to corporate ethics, human rights and labour issues.

His work follows recognized ethical principles of journalism, including the International Federation of Journalists' Declaration of Principles on the Conduct of Journalists.

Peter holds a master degree in the history of ideas and political theory from Aarhus University. He is external examiner at its Department of Philosophy and History of Ideas and affiliate at its Centre for studies of Litteratures and Cultures of Slavery.

Previous positions include director of Danwatch, senior adviser at the VELUX Foundations, head of section at the Danish Ministry of Education.
